POSITION: Production Team Supervisor, Permanent
LOCATION: Edmonton, AB
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, 4:00pm – 12:30am
COMPENSATION: Negotiable
Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:
Oversee the department, the personnel, and systems, actively engage and participate in a high-performance cross-functional team environment. A snapshot of some of the exciting responsibilities you will lead and undertake: Accountable for ensuring product quality, scheduling and assigning staff, establishing priorities, adjusting schedules, and resolving issues Supervision of production staff, achievement of production goals, verification and implementation of manufacturing protocols Demonstrates initiative and exercises sound judgment in daily operational decisions Maintains a safe working environment by educating and guiding employees on equipment and resource usage while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies Supports food safety initiatives related to processing, serving as a role model in adhering to food safety standards Focus on reducing and eliminating workplace incidents Develops, directs, manages, trains, and motivates team members by communicating job expectations, evaluating job performance, coaching, counseling, and addressing employee issues promptly Fosters a positive employee relations environment through effective communication with peers, team members, and management Understanding and administration of the Collective Agreement and other company policies and procedures Recognizes, supports, and commits to the Food Safety promise and facility Mission statement. Ensures our product production is safe and provides suggestions for enhancing food safety on the production floorWhat You'll Bring:
