About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team at GSR STAR CONSTRUCTION LTD. as a Mason Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced masons with various tasks on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials

You will be responsible for loading and unloading construction materials, such as concrete and asphalt, from trucks and equipment.

Erecting and Dismantling Forms and Scaffolding

You will assist in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.

Mixing and Spreading Materials

You will assist in mixing and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt, ensuring they are applied correctly and efficiently.

Demolition and Debris Removal

You will assist in demolishing buildings and removing rubble and other debris from construction sites.

Requirements
  • Education

No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.

Experience

Experience is an asset, but not necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Language

The primary language of work is English.

Work Hours

The work hours are 35 to 40 hours per week.
