Objective
The Vice President of Regional Operations, Canada will oversee all Christian Dior Boutiques within the Canadian territory. This includes managing a total of 6 boutiques, strategically located in key cities.

This role is pivotal in enhancing Dior's market presence and brand positioning in Canada, driving sales performance and achieving business objectives, delivering outstanding client experiences, streamlining retail operations, and nurturing talent within the organization. The individual will analyze competitive dynamics, local market conditions, and trends to formulate effective business strategies that capitalize on opportunities.

The Vice President of Regional Operations, Canada is expected to exemplify leadership qualities, resolve challenges, make data-driven decisions, and manage personnel effectively to optimize results while ensuring exceptional client service across all boutiques. They will foster trustworthy and collaborative relationships with store leaders through regular one-on-one meetings and site visits. A client-centric culture focused on relationship building, retention, and sales growth will be cultivated.

They will build high-performing teams by providing ongoing coaching to store leaders, identifying their developmental needs, and leveraging key business partners to enhance their capabilities. Maintaining awareness of talent across all markets, they will assist store leaders in talent mapping and calibration to create a robust local network and establish a strong external talent pool. Strategic Initiatives:
  • Collaborate closely with the EVP, Retail and Wholesale North America to define the strategic direction for the Canadian region, aligning it with the broader strategy for the Americas.
  • Maintain proactive awareness of the competitive landscape.
Business Development:
  • Drive comparable growth across the region and meet budgetary targets for each boutique.
  • Identify key performance drivers for each boutique and develop action plans to address challenges.
  • Strategically plan business initiatives for each boutique and priority categories.
  • Identify growth opportunities and collaborate with relevant departments.
  • Enhance conversion rates and increase units per transaction in each boutique.
  • Prepare for and achieve results during collection launches and local events.
Client Engagement:
  • Deliver an unparalleled client experience, establishing clear expectations for each boutique and ensuring they are met.
  • Implement the Client Development strategy by providing stores with specific objectives, driving key performance indicators through structured tracking, and supporting stores with actionable plans based on data insights.
  • Explore new initiatives to attract clients and maximize local market potential.
  • Achieve targets for Net Promoter Score and Customer Experience for each boutique.
Operational Standards:
  • Meet inventory and shrinkage targets in each boutique.
  • Ensure compliance with all operational procedures and maintain a tidy store environment.
Store Development:
  • Actively engage in store openings and relocations.
  • Coordinate resources and liaise with corporate partners as necessary.
Financial Accountability:
  • Achieve profit and loss targets for each boutique, contributing to overall zone profitability.
  • Strategically plan staffing levels in partnership with EVP Retail, Finance, Retail Excellence, and HR teams.
Talent Management:
  • Attract and retain top-tier talent.
  • Collaborate with HR to anticipate and build a talent pipeline to minimize time-to-fill for positions.
  • Ensure an exceptional employee experience, keeping the team engaged and motivated.
  • Effectively onboard new managers.
General Expectations:
  • Maintain a presence in stores 3-4 days a week, prioritizing time on the sales floor.
  • Adhere to deadlines and demonstrate a sense of urgency and efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience in boutique management and multi-store operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Luxury Fashion Industry and Luxury Clientele.
  • Proven ability to develop, motivate, and train boutique managers and staff, fostering strong internal and external relationships.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to listen and provide clear instructions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and follow-through skills.
  • Willingness to work a full-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Travel as necessary.
  • Proficient in operating all necessary equipment for the role.
  • Ability to understand and apply all company policies and procedures.
