Job Title: Data Analytics Specialist

At CB Canada, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Specialist to join our team. As an ETL Developer, you will play a critical role in extracting, transforming, and loading data from our source systems into our target databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement complex ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate with Data Architects to understand business requirements and translate them into ETL code.
  • Participate in design review sessions, code reviews, and Agile team meetings to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Develop test scenarios and perform in-depth unit tests to ensure data quality.
  • Define ETL job sequences and dependencies, including error logging and restart processes.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in ETL/ DI development.
  • 3+ years of experience with IBM InfoSphere tool suite (DataStage & QualityStage).
  • 3+ years of development experience with database technologies and 1+ year of experience with data warehousing methodologies.
  • Teradata experience is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology.
  • Familiarity with JIRA.

Duration: 9 months

Location: Ottawa/Toronto - remote/hybrid environment
