About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Process & System Improvement Consultant to join our team at IWK Health. As a key member of our continuous improvement team, you will be responsible for leading impactful change initiatives that drive process improvements and enhance patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex and high-risk process improvement and change management plans using LEAN and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Engage with staff and physicians at all levels of the organization to identify problems and propose solutions.
  • Collaborate with project support teams to advance org-wide and local team continuous improvement projects.
  • Provide analytical expertise to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Health Services Administration, Health Information Management, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum three years' experience leading continuous improvement-related projects.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification considered an asset.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of program planning and strategic planning.
  • Excellent word processing, spreadsheet, relational database, visual management software, project management software, and simulation modeling software skills.
