ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Lead Content Strategist, you will become a vital member of our global copywriting team, which consists of nearly 60 professionals worldwide. Your primary responsibility will be to craft and refine in-app content for a streaming service, ensuring that the copy aligns with brand standards and captivates global audiences.

Your focus will be on reviewing, editing, and enhancing AI-generated content while also creating original material. You will ensure that all descriptions are engaging, insightful, and accurately represent each title. Collaborating closely with the Copy Lead and a diverse team of writers, you will exercise your creative and strategic skills daily.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Edit and enhance AI-generated content to ensure alignment with brand standards and effectively inform audiences about the title's plot, tone, and genre.
  • Produce compelling and effective original content with a clear purpose for titles from various regions.
  • Generate creative concepts and ideas across multiple channels as needed.
  • Maintain adherence to the client's tone of voice and brand guidelines.
  • Conduct research on competitors and industry trends for creative inspiration.
  • Collaborate with fellow writers and account management teams.
  • Mentor and provide feedback to mid- and junior-level writers on the account.
  • Update internal documentation to track feedback and brand nuances, ensuring consistency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in copywriting is essential.
  • Proficiency in editing and rewriting AI-generated content is required.
  • Experience in the entertainment sector (film and television) is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of crafting copy that resonates with audiences and converts viewers.
  • Detail-oriented, inquisitive, research-driven, and capable of working independently.
  • Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence in collaborating with various departments and stakeholders.
  • Understanding the significance of consistency across different user journey touchpoints.
  • Ability to present work to large groups and communicate ideas clearly and enthusiastically.
