About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team at Jordan & Neil M Enterprises as a General Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall strategy and direction of the organization, ensuring that our goals and objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to achieve business objectives.
    • Authorize and establish major departments and associated senior staff positions.
    • Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Resource Allocation
    • Allocate material, human, and financial resources to support business operations.
  • Strategic Planning
    • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations to support diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Recruitment and Talent Management
    • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff and delegate necessary authority.
    • Recruit newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Ensure the effective implementation of business processes and procedures.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College or CEGEP degree.
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a senior management role.
  • Work Setting
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Language
    • English language proficiency.
