Senior Estimator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join our team at DGA Careers. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a critical role in providing accurate and detailed cost estimates for large commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough cost analysis of estimates on completed projects to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with the Project and Property Management departments to provide budgets and estimates for new industrial buildings, tenant work, and demising of existing space.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive construction cost database to support informed decision-making.
- Communicate effectively with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Perform site visits to ensure accurate assessment of project requirements and to identify potential issues.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant commercial real estate construction experience in Canada, with a focus on industrial, office, and retail asset classes.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
- Previous hands-on experience on construction sites is an asset.
- Knowledge of industrial construction methods and techniques.
