About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at VHA Home Healthcare. As a Community Access Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality services to our clients in the Ottawa area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and implement occupational therapy interventions in accordance with professional practice guidelines and standards.
  • Implement client interventions based on assessment information, client input, and integrated care plans.
  • Ensure coordinated delivery of care through ongoing communication with the client's team.
  • Document all assessment findings, treatment plans, progress, and discharge summaries.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized school.
  • Member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therists of Ontario.
  • Valid driver's license with access to a vehicle.
  • Compassionate and empathetic with excellent communication skills.
