Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Jimoco Cafe & Pasta. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant.
Responsibilities- Table Setting and Service: Assist in setting tables and bringing clean dishes and utensils to serving areas, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean tables, trays, and chairs, as well as sanitize work surfaces, appliances, and equipment to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Take-out and Customer Service: Package take-out orders for customers and provide excellent customer service, ensuring that our customers receive their orders promptly and efficiently.
- Order Taking and Communication: Take customer orders and communicate effectively with our kitchen staff to ensure that orders are prepared and delivered to our customers in a timely manner.
- Work Environment and Hours: Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a typical work week of 30 to 40 hours. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
- Education and Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial, but not required. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn are essential.
- Work Setting: This role is based in a restaurant environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
