About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Worker to join our team at ParaMed. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting patients in their homes and community settings by assisting with activities of daily living.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, including special diets as determined by the care plan
  • Provide companionship and support to patients, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life
  • Perform basic housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients

Requirements:

  • Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate
  • Ability to demonstrate compassion and care when interacting with patients
  • Reliability and flexibility
  • Passion for making a difference in your community
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle to travel to and from patient's residences
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Screen
