We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Applied Scientist to join our AWS Cloud Optimization team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and delivering innovative AI/ML solutions that drive business growth and customer success.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Leadership: Provide technical vision and leadership to drive the development of AI/ML solutions that meet business needs.
- Architecture and Design: Design and develop scalable and efficient AI/ML architectures that integrate with existing cloud services.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and customer success, to ensure seamless delivery of AI/ML solutions.
- Customer Success: Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and develop AI/ML solutions that drive business value and customer satisfaction.
- Innovation and Experimentation: Stay up-to-date with the latest AI/ML trends and technologies, and experiment with new approaches to drive innovation and improvement.
Our AWS Cloud Optimization team is a global organization dedicated to helping AWS customers succeed in their cloud journey. We own critical cloud services used by all AWS customers to build, optimize, and operate at scale. Our broad portfolio of services includes AWS Health, Trusted Advisor, Well-Architected, re:Post, Recommendations & Insights, Self-service Automation, Support Center, and more.
Requirements- Graduate Degree: Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in AI and Machine Learning in industry.
- Track Record: Proven experience with a track record of thought leadership and contributions that have advanced a business, customer experience.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced Experience: 10+ years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing in industry and/or academia.
- Professional Traits: Exhibits excellent judgment, helps in growth and development of our teams, has relentlessly high standards, is able to dive deep and is never out of touch with the details of the business or the technology, expects and requires innovation of her/his team, has passion and convictions and the innate ability to inspire passion in others, oriented towards delivering results, strong customer obsession.
