- Cultural Competence: Understanding of First Nations' culture, health priorities, and social challenges is necessary.
- Management Skills: Proven experience in personnel management, program development, and financial oversight is crucial.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication abilities are vital.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer applications, including spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software is expected.
- Manage contracts for physicians and the Physician Services Program Office (PSPO).
- Ensure that governance and management agreements are effectively established.
- Maintain and enforce SLRPSI Board Physician policies and procedures.
- Support the strategic initiatives of the SLRPSI Board.
- Prepare and present statistical reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Oversee obligations related to OHIP billing.
- Supervise physician contract roles.
- Engage with communities and partner organizations.
- Facilitate program development efforts.
