ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in Materials Management & Supply Chain
• Strong planning, leadership, and organizational abilities
• Highly adaptable, motivated, and detail-oriented with a capacity to work independently
• Effective problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset
• Proficient communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Strong relationship-building skills to foster teamwork
• Ability to perform professionally under pressure
• Minimum 5 years of inventory management experience in a multi-site manufacturing context
• At least 3 years of experience with Warehouse Management Systems (preferably Solidat)
• Comprehensive understanding of Inventory Control and MRP relationships
• Extensive experience in Supply Chain processes
• Proficient in Lean Manufacturing principles and process improvements
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Trans4M/CMI
• Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Capable of working with minimal supervision
• Ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels
• Flexibility to respond to a dynamic work environment
• Understanding of basic accounting principles
ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
APICS CSCP – Certified Supply Chain Professional or equivalent Experience in the automotive industry (preferably with Magna) Familiarity with value stream mapping 6 Sigma Black/Green belt certification Experience in maintaining ERP bill of materials (BOMs) and product routings Knowledge of Canada & USA Customs regulations Understanding of ISO-14001 and TS/IATF-16949 quality standards Forklift/reach truck certification AZ driver's licensePRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate with the Mytox team to achieve organizational objectives
• Develop and manage procedures to ensure high inventory accuracy across multiple sites
• Implement strategies to meet departmental goals
• Refine and manage the Solidat Warehouse Management System
• Maintain effective JIT inventory levels at designated locations
• Oversee the hiring, training, and performance of Material Analysts
• Foster a positive work culture through leadership and team development
• Promote lean management practices
• Participate in Mytox APQP meetings, providing necessary information for program success
• Monitor departmental performance metrics to ensure goals are met
• Report on Key Performance Indicators related to departmental objectives
• Ensure safety, quality, and performance standards are upheld in Inventory Control and Planning
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and purchasing teams to meet organizational goals
• Lead efforts in flawless product launches and engineering changes
• Conduct inventory reconciliations at external processor facilities
• Perform inventory cycle counts and BOM audits as needed
• Implement corrective actions for inventory discrepancies
• Address supplier release issues promptly
• Develop action plans to minimize slow-moving inventory
• Ensure proper FIFO inventory rotation
• Provide timely feedback on supplier performance
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and environmental regulations
• Maintain effective housekeeping and 5S practices
• Fulfill any other reasonable requests from management
