Position Overview

The Housekeeping Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest accommodations and common areas. This position is essential for ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to uphold hygiene standards.
  • Furniture Maintenance: Dust and clean furniture to ensure a pristine appearance.
  • Carpet Care: Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Bedding Management: Make beds and change sheets regularly.
  • Supplies Distribution: Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guest rooms.
  • Linen Management: Stock the linen closet efficiently.
  • Fixture Cleaning: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Operating Room Sanitation: Disinfect operating rooms and other critical areas.
  • Elevator Maintenance: Clean and disinfect elevators to ensure guest safety.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items appropriately.
  • Guest Assistance: Provide basic information on facilities to guests.
  • Debris Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers regularly.
  • Window and Wall Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings as needed.
  • Changing Room Care: Clean changing rooms and showers for guest use.
  • Customer Relations: Address customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
