About This Opportunity

Black & McDonald's Southern Ontario FMO team is seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a 3rd Class Stationary Engineer. If you have a passion for technical work and a strong commitment to safety, this position may be the perfect fit for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain steam boilers, air compressors, water softeners, air dryers, pumps, and fans to ensure efficient and safe plant operation.
  • Perform routine inspections and testing of equipment to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks as needed to ensure optimal plant performance.
  • Monitor and document plant performance metrics, including air compressor readings, steam production and consumption, and gas consumption.
  • Collaborate with sub-trades and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Must possess a 3rd Class Power Engineer's Certificate
