Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Service Clerk to join our team at Metro. As a Service Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with cart corralling and maintenance to maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Maintain can return machines to ensure efficient and accurate returns
  • Ensure proper handling of bottle returns to minimize waste and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Adhere to sanitation and safety standards to maintain a healthy and safe work environment
  • Provide support to cashiers and service desk staff to ensure seamless customer service
  • Assist with general store upkeep to maintain a clean and welcoming store environment
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to meet and exceed customer expectations
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the team and achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail or customer service environment
  • Availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts to meet the needs of our customers

Skills:

  • Friendly and courteous attitude to provide exceptional customer service
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors, as needed
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards to maintain a safe work environment
