As part of BC Cancer, our mission is to work towards a future devoid of cancer. We provide a comprehensive cancer control program in collaboration with regional health authorities, encompassing prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship services. Our network includes six regional cancer centers and two research facilities dedicated to cancer research.

Role Responsibilities
As a Clinical Geneticist, you will leverage your expertise to deliver high-quality cancer care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting genetic assessments and counseling for both pediatric and adult patients
- Performing cancer risk evaluations and genetic testing
- Offering management recommendations for hereditary cancer syndromes
- Addressing secondary or incidental findings from advanced genetic testing methods

We are looking for candidates with a strong academic background, exceptional clinical skills, and a passion for clinical research.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will:
- Be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia
- Hold or be eligible for certification in Medical Genetics from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
- Have additional training or experience in cancer genetics, pharmacogenomics, or cardiac genetics, which would be advantageous
- Be considered for a clinical faculty appointment at the University of British Columbia, with academic rank based on qualifications.
