Teaching Opportunity at Oxford Learning

Oxford Learning is seeking a part-time teacher-tutor to work with students in a learning centre setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong understanding of the elementary curriculum.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach students in a one-on-one setting, using Oxford Learning's proprietary methodologies and philosophies
  • Follow pre-planned lessons and provide feedback to students
  • Communicate with parents and students through daily updates and post-lesson notes
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Experience teaching or tutoring at an elementary level
  • Strong English written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work with multiple students at a time
Work Schedule:
  • After-school and evening hours (4:00pm - 8:00pm)
  • Saturdays (9:00am - 3:00pm)
Compensation:

$18 per hour
