About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineering Design Technologist to join our team at CNArreola Design Ltd. as a CAD Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of design, drawings, and specifications, as well as estimating costs and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing design, drawings, and specifications for mechanical engineering projects
  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software, including MicroStation, 3D graphic software, AutoCAD, and Autodesk REVIT
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
  • Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications
  • Prepare contracts and tenders for clients
  • Develop and maintain standards and schedules for projects
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering design and CAD
  • Proficiency in MicroStation, 3D graphic software, AutoCAD, and Autodesk REVIT
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to distinguish between colors
Work Environment

The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is essential.
