This critical role plays a mission-critical part in delivering meaningful and measurable progress towards zero preventable harm for patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy strategy deployment frameworks and processes to ensure alignment of patient safety priorities and resources across the hospital's programs, services, departments, and portfolios.
  • Lead and develop strategic partnerships with interprofessional healthcare teams and patient partners to drive quality improvement initiatives.
  • Advise executives on the path forward towards a proactive approach to quality improvement, leveraging expertise in proactive process development and continuous quality improvement.
  • Drive operational momentum and deliver on critical initiatives to enhance quality care and reduce patient risk.

Requirements:

  • Established healthcare leader with a proven track record of leading transformational change and driving quality improvement initiatives.
  • Formal training and credibility within the Quality & Safety portfolio, with extensive experience in proactive process development and continuous quality improvement.
  • Strong leadership and partnership skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with interprofessional healthcare teams and patient partners.
  • Expertise in quality improvement methodologies and a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape.
