Fraser Health Authority is seeking a skilled Cardiology Technologist to join our team at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre. As a key member of our diagnostic team, you will be responsible for performing electrocardiogram (ECG) testing, stress testing, and other cardiovascular diagnostic procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct ECG testing, stress testing, and other cardiovascular diagnostic procedures to diagnose and monitor cardiovascular conditions.
- Explain procedures and answer patient questions to ensure a smooth testing process.
- Analyze ECG and stress test results to identify potential cardiovascular issues.
- Enter patient test information into our electronic health records system to ensure accurate and up-to-date patient data.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient test results and procedures.
- Provide training and orientation to new staff members and students on ECG testing procedures and equipment operation.
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement department policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A diploma in Cardiology Technology from a recognized institution.
- Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced diagnostic environment.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
