ÉTS - École de technologie supérieure is seeking a highly qualified researcher to fill a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair position in Health Technologies. This prestigious position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the institution's strategic research plan and advance the field of health and well-being.
About the PositionThe successful candidate will hold a regular, full-time faculty position at ÉTS and will be responsible for the scientific direction of the Health Technologies Institute. The incumbent will work closely with the Department Directors and the Executive Director of Research and Partnerships to establish research orientations and priorities, and prepare the Institute's strategic plan for scientific programming.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure implementation of the Institute's strategic development plan and scientific programming
- Provide scientific and administrative support in the preparation of large-scale grant applications
- Promote the development of partnerships with the private sector and ensure dynamic relations with government bodies and funding agencies
- Support the valorization of research and technology transfer to user communities
The ideal candidate will be an outstanding researcher recognized by their peers as a world leader in their field. They must propose a promising and innovative research program, demonstrate an interest and competence in teaching and supervising graduate students, and have the ability to teach in French or demonstrate a willingness to learn the language.
