Job Summary

M SQUARE LOGISTICS INC. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle and perform regular inspections to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Route Planning: Plan and execute routes to ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to safety regulations.
  • Cargo Management: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Emergency Response: Perform emergency roadside repairs and respond to unexpected situations in a professional and safe manner.
  • Communication: Operate GPS and other navigation equipment to ensure efficient navigation and communication with dispatch and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication for this role.
  • Work Environment: This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 30-40 hours per week.

  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of cargo and vehicle information.
  • Physical Demands: The ability to lift, bend, and move heavy objects is required for this position.
