Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Niagara Hotels Inc. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer experiences and leading a team of staff to deliver outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Lead and manage a team of 3-4 staff members to achieve exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operational Management
    • Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operation of the hotel.
    • Perform same duties as workers supervised to stay up-to-date with operational requirements.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on operational performance and customer feedback.
  • Training and Development
    • Train and develop staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Requisition materials and supplies to ensure the hotel has the necessary resources to operate efficiently.
    • Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a supervisory or leadership role, or equivalent experience.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Accurate and detail-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
    • Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Organized and able to prioritize tasks to meet operational requirements.
