Position Overview

We are looking for a seasoned and visionary Senior Vice President of Engineering to lead our innovative engineering team. The ideal candidate will set the strategic direction for our engineering initiatives, oversee the development of cutting-edge products and solutions, and ensure the successful execution of engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Formulate and implement the overall engineering strategy to foster innovation and product development in the building automation sector.
  2. Lead and mentor a skilled team of engineers and developers to promote excellence and creativity in engineering activities.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Sales, and Marketing, to align engineering projects with business goals and market demands.
  4. Oversee the design, development, and testing of new products and technologies to fulfill customer needs and market trends.
  5. Drive continuous enhancement of engineering processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and speed to market.
  6. Encourage a culture of collaboration, creativity, and technical excellence within the engineering division.
  7. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
  8. Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders and academic institutions to enhance engineering capabilities.
  9. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in all engineering activities.

Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  2. At least 15 years of progressive experience in engineering leadership roles within the building automation or related sectors.
  3. Demonstrated success in leading engineering teams to deliver innovative products and solutions.
  4. Strong technical background in building automation systems and software development.
  5. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and implement long-term engineering strategies.
