About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Handyman/Woman to join our team at PH Management. As a Handyman/Woman, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs. Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and other refuse.
  • Minor Repairs: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems. Contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Appliance Repair: Perform minor repairs on appliances.
  • Heavy Lifting: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
  • Routine Maintenance: Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
  • Lawn and Garden Maintenance: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
Personal Qualities
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
  • Judgement: Ability to make sound decisions and take initiative when necessary.
  • Work Term: Permanent position with 40 hours of work per week.
  • Work Language: English.
