About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Operations Specialist to join our global Cloud DevOps team. As a key member of our Research and Development function, you will be responsible for deploying and continuously monitoring cloud-enabled products and solutions to ensure customer requirements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy and monitor cloud-specific customer requirements/SLAs
  • Improve the security posture of AVEVA's Cloud solutions
  • Lead and implement improvements to the deployment process and monitoring and reporting capabilities
  • Independently learn, gain expertise, and lead implementations of new capabilities and tools supporting infrastructure governance and monitoring
  • Continually develop and improve DevOps processes, adding value through optimization, automation, and effective reporting
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with practices and policies
Requirements
  • Strong enterprise software development experience preferably with e.g. C#.NET
  • Expertise in PowerShell, Bash, and/or Node JS scripting
  • Knowledge and experience in operational support, software development, and deployment methodologies and principles
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, able to convey information clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent analysis and dissemination skills
  • Web application development
  • Experience /expertise in DNS, TLS, and network architecture
  • Experience in web application security principles and practices, or penetration testing
  • Hands-on experience working within an Information Security accredited framework e.g. Experience working in Agile software development such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
