We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team at Doug Tarry Homes. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction of new homes, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
- Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
- Level earth to fine grade specifications.
- Assist in demolishing buildings and cleaning up debris.
- Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
As a Construction Labourer and Helper, you will be working outdoors in a fast-paced construction environment. You will be required to work in a variety of weather conditions and may be exposed to dust, noise, and other hazards.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience in construction or a related field is an asset.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
