About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Janitorial Services Manager to join our team at Duke's Building Services Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our janitorial services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Direct and control daily operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of janitorial services.
  • Staff Supervision: Hire, train, and supervise a team of 3-4 staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Policies and Procedures: Establish or implement policies and procedures for staff to ensure consistency and quality in our services.
  • Work Environment: Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all staff members.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in French is required.
  • Work Conditions: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and physically demanding tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Temporary.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
