Job Overview

The Poultry Operations Supervisor will oversee the daily activities on a poultry farm, ensuring the health and productivity of the livestock.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in poultry farming or related fields.
Work Environment
  • Involves broiler and other meat-type chicken production.
  • Includes chicken, duck, geese, and turkey farming.
  • Conditions may be dusty, hot, noisy, and involve various odours.
  • Work is primarily outdoors and involves livestock management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Handle and care for animals, ensuring their health and well-being.
  • Monitor and maintain animal health records.
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of farm workers and harvesting staff.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and bio-security protocols.
  • Maintain accurate livestock performance records.
  • Perform general farm operations as required.
