About the Role

Athiana Acres is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our farm operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm workers and harvesting labourers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordination and Supervision: Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers to ensure efficient and effective farm operations.
  • Farm Safety and Bio-Security: Ensure that all farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed at all times to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Quality Control and Production Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality control and production records to track farm performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Crop Management: Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations to ensure optimal crop yields and quality.
  • Machinery and Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition and to minimize downtime.
  • General Farm Duties: Perform general farm duties as required to support the smooth operation of the farm.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced and dynamic farm environment with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Language and Communication: Communicate effectively with farm workers and other stakeholders in English.
  • Work Hours and Schedule: Work a standard 40-hour week with regular breaks and time off as required.
