ROLE OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Event and Activation Manager, the Brand Engagement Specialist will be responsible for executing consumer and partner events in alignment with the Brand Marketing strategy for the designated region. This role will focus on ensuring the effective implementation of marketing initiatives in retail environments while promoting community engagement through various activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Execute market introduction activities including in-store promotions, events, and camps.
  • Drive sales initiatives within retail locations.
  • Lead community engagement activities.
  • Support local public relations efforts.
  • Collaborate with Trade Marketing to address in-store communication and promotional needs.
  • Train retail staff on product knowledge and key launches.
  • Participate in team events and activities outside of regular hours as needed.
  • Manage social media content for brand visibility across platforms.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business, with 1-2 years of experience in retail or sports marketing.
  • Proven ability to operate within budget constraints.
  • Strong focus on customer service and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and a collaborative team player.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of the hockey market and consumer behavior in the region.
  • Comfortable with various social media platforms and current trends.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
