About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team at A&T Grocery as a Meat Packer. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe processing of meat products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Handling: Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials to and from various areas of the production facility.
  • Packaging and Packaging Materials: Feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers, and manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers.
  • Machine Operation: Feed and unload processing machines, ensuring they are properly maintained and cleaned.
  • Quality Control: Check products and packaging for basic quality defects, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Clean machines and immediate work areas, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Work Conditions: This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, attention to detail, and a focus on quality.
  • Work Term and Hours: This is a permanent position, requiring 30 to 40 hours of work per week.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
