Carpenter Job Description

At Generate Concrete, we are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials to build structures, fixtures, and installations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Estimating costs and materials.
  • Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in various settings.
Work Environment:

As a Carpenter at Generate Concrete, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload. You will be part of a team that values reliability, teamwork, and a welcoming work environment for all employees.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience.
  • Ability to work in various locations, including commercial and residential settings.
