Job Title: Senior Front-End Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Front-End Developer to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge front-end solutions using React-based open source frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex front-end applications using modern JavaScript and front-end frameworks, especially React.
  • Collaborate with the development team to break down large problems into manageable increments and implement solutions.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality front-end code, ensuring it is efficient, scalable, and meets the requirements of the project.
  • Contribute to the code review and QA processes, ensuring that all code meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring that all team members have access to the information they need to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and implement opportunities for improvement, ensuring that our front-end solutions are always up-to-date and aligned with industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in multiple areas of the system, with a strong background in front-end development.
  • Fluency in modern JavaScript and front-end frameworks, especially React.
  • DevOps mindset, with experience in automation, measurement, monitoring, and improvement as it applies to the front-end and related system areas.
  • Excellent technical communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-directed, driven, and sharp, with the ability to proactively obtain the direction or specification required from the team.
