Plumber - Construction Division

Black & McDonald Limited is seeking a skilled Plumber to join our Construction Division in Saskatoon, SK. If you are a hands-on, customer service-oriented, and technically inclined professional looking to build a solid foundation for your career, this position may be for you.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing planned activities on commercial plumbing, completing daily service reports, and compiling accurate labor and material take-offs. They will also work autonomously or in teams to complete work efficiently, on time, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Planned Activities: Execute commercial plumbing tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Complete Daily Service Reports: Document maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities, including service and repair recommendations.
- Compile Labor and Material Take-Offs: Accurately calculate labor and material requirements for work recommendations and materials ordering.
- Work Efficiently: Complete work autonomously or in teams to meet deadlines and budget requirements.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:
- WHIMIS, SCOTT, R&R, Mobile Aerial Platform Training, Fall Protection Training, Confined Space Training: Considered an asset.
- Relevant Industry Experience: Minimum [X] years of experience in the plumbing trade.
- Consideration may be given to those who do not possess all the above requirements: If they can demonstrate a strong work ethic, passion for the trade, and a desire to learn.
Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements:
- Clean Class 5 SK Driver's License and Abstract: Required.
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills: Essential.
- Ability to Follow Written and Verbal Instructions: Required.
- Ability to Maintain a Professional Demeanor: Essential.
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Required.
- Knowledge of Basic Computer Skills: Including Microsoft Outlook and mobile device applications.
