About the Role

Fleetex Transport Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Activities: Work closely with other departments to coordinate activities and ensure seamless execution of logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Prepare and Submit Reports: Develop and submit regular reports to management on logistics and supply chain performance, highlighting areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure Smooth Operation: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Resolve Work Problems: Identify and resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Recruit and Hire Staff: Recruit and hire staff as needed, and train workers in duties and policies.
  • Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure staff are meeting expectations and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Coordinate, Assign and Review Work: Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Requisition or Order Materials: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support logistics and supply chain operations.

Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Project, MS Access, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, efficient interpersonal skills, and a client-focused approach.
