IT Consultant

Vision33 is a global IT professional services consultancy that solves customer business challenges through the promise of technology. We are currently seeking an IT Support Consultant to join our team in Dartmouth, NS.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Consultant to provide remote day-to-day IT support for a large and diverse client base. The successful candidate will work directly with clients to gather and document requirements relating to their internal systems, networks, and applications to troubleshoot and resolve their issues.

• Provide remote day-to-day IT support for a large and diverse client base, with the potential for client site visits.
• Work directly with clients to gather and document requirements relating to their internal systems, networks, and applications to troubleshoot and resolve their issues.
• Respond to service requests in the designated response time and maintaining records in our ticketing system regarding the request.
• Work closely with team members to resolve client issues and requests.
• Support internal and external sales efforts as required.

• Relevant post-secondary education coupled with 3-4 years of related experience.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues.
• Experience using and managing remote monitoring and alerting systems.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to take action and execute.
• Knowledge of SMB IT Network Infrastructure also including domain admin, security requirements, and end-user equipment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 products and services.
• Knowledge of MS Server and Desktop OS, and VMWare environments.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and listening skills in order to correspond with clients, diagnose issues, resolve problems, and correspond with team players.
