Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Assistant to provide custodial and maintenance services to our schools and other District facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide custodial services, including cleaning and sanitizing facilities, emptying trash and recyclables, and restocking supplies.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, and reporting any maintenance issues to the facilities team.
  • Assist with special events and projects, such as setup and teardown of equipment and supplies.
  • Collaborate with other District staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of our facilities.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in custodial or maintenance work preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
