We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Assistant to provide custodial and maintenance services to our schools and other District facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide custodial services, including cleaning and sanitizing facilities, emptying trash and recyclables, and restocking supplies.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, and reporting any maintenance issues to the facilities team.
- Assist with special events and projects, such as setup and teardown of equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with other District staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of our facilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in custodial or maintenance work preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
