Position Overview

The Marketing Coordinator will play a vital role in enhancing the visibility and outreach of Mississauga College of Technology Inc. This position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at promoting the institution and its offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary representative for the organization in various communications.
  • Consult with clients regarding advertising and promotional strategies to effectively reach target audiences.
  • Respond to inquiries both in writing and verbally, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
  • Assist in the creation of promotional materials, including brochures, reports, and newsletters.
  • Coordinate special events and promotional activities to enhance public engagement.
  • Research and prepare communications materials that align with the organization's goals.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with media representatives to facilitate coverage and awareness.
  • Develop and deliver educational and informational programs, materials, and sessions.
Qualifications
  • Area of Expertise: Proficiency in interactive/new media and project management.
  • Transportation: Must have own transportation for travel related to job duties.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years in a relevant field.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language Requirement: Proficiency in English is essential.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
