About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Specialist to join our team at Dexterra Group. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of common areas, including offices, break rooms, and restrooms
  • Collect and transport trash and recyclables
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, as well as dust and clean surfaces
  • Operate specialized cleaning equipment, such as auto scrubbers and carpet extractors
  • Assist with snow removal and ice melt application during winter months

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Workplace Hazardous Materials
  • A civil servant application is required
  • A clear criminal background check is required for this role
