About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cleaning Operations Supervisor to join our team at Highlight Motor Freight Inc. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cleaning staff and ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Cleaning Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordinate Cleaning Schedules: Plan and coordinate cleaning schedules to ensure that all areas of the facility are cleaned regularly and efficiently.
  • Inspect Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify areas that require attention and ensure that cleaning standards are met.
  • Manage Budgets: Prepare and manage budgets for cleaning supplies and services to ensure that costs are controlled and efficient.
  • Recommend Improvements: Identify areas for improvement and recommend changes to cleaning procedures and protocols to enhance the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a cleaning or facilities management role.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and handle heavy loads.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on client satisfaction and reliability.
