We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Long-term Care Attendant to join our team at Mountain View Lodge in Lillooet, BC. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with personal care and activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support residents with mobility, transfers, and related equipment
- Perform nursing procedures, such as taking temperature, pulse, and respiration
- Contribute to a safe and healthy environment through housekeeping activities
- Observe and report changes in resident behavior and condition
- Accompany residents on outings and during social activities
- Perform clerical duties and delegated tasks
Mountain View Lodge is a warm and welcoming community located in the heart of Lillooet, BC. Our lodge offers a range of amenities, including a spa room, cozy dining room, and secure patio/outdoor space. We encourage family and volunteer participation in all aspects of life at Mountain View Lodge.
Qualifications- Grade 10
- Graduation from a recognized Nursing Assistant/Health Care Aide Program or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker registry
