Licensed Practical Nurse

The Licensed Practical Nurse plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments, develop care plans, and provide personalized nursing care to patients, including wound care, IV administration, and catheter management.
• Administer medications in accordance with established policies and procedures, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
• Work in accordance with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) standards of practice, organizational policies, and unit-specific protocols.
This is a casual opportunity, with hours not guaranteed and shifts potentially at short notice. Casual employees are eligible to apply for internal postings, including permanent and temporary positions.
Interior Health Authority offers a competitive hourly wage of $32.84 to $41.35, effective April 1, 2024.

Ashcroft and Cache Creek are charming communities with a mild climate, offering a range of outdoor activities, including skiing, hiking, and fishing. The health site serves both communities and the surrounding area, with a population of approximately 7,000.
