The Role

We're seeking a Senior Product Consultant with a strong focus on e-commerce platforms to join our team. As a key member of our Product Management team, you'll spearhead the development of digital products for our clients, driving innovation and delivering high ROI.

Your responsibilities will include shaping product strategies, assembling detailed requirements for e-commerce initiatives, and overseeing the product lifecycle from inception to completion. You'll work closely with our multidisciplinary team to expand our e-commerce offering and drive business value for our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and champion product strategies and vision throughout client engagements.
  • Analyze customer feedback and stakeholder input to inform product requirements and features.
  • Create product plans and roadmaps with executive stakeholder buy-in.
  • Prepare and review product requirements documents (PRD) to ensure requirements are understood and communicated effectively.
  • Organize product releases and priorities to ensure compliance with business value expectations.
  • Track product use and impact on end users, defining measurement plans and using analytics tools to inform product decisions.
  • Ensure requirements are delivered to specifications, defects are managed, and products are ready for launch.
  • Use product management frameworks to generate alignment across disciplines and drive product vision forward.
  • Continuously expand product base and vision based on data and research-driven insights.
  • Add value to the team by driving ROI through business and customer value, understanding constraints, and making recommendations to move vision forward.
  • Support, elevate, and champion the practice of product management at Apply Digital.
Requirements
  • You're a perceptive, creative leader with problem-solving skills.
  • You're professional, confident, and able to understand which ideas will and won't work.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a Product Management role, with a minimum of 5 years working in an e-commerce focused business or with a service company providing e-commerce solutions.
  • You've proven yourself in a consultation role, with experience in product ownership and product discovery.
  • You excel in client service skills and communication, working effectively across disciplines in a client-facing capacity.
  • You can demonstrate the ability to construct product strategy and points of view to inform product and prioritization decisions.
  • You have a portfolio of digital products that you've shipped, managed, and operated, and are proud to share how it delivered value to end users.
  • You're comfortable breaking down complex problems into logical, digestible steps and thrive in ambiguity.
  • You're able to convey technical concepts to non-technical people and turn business, UX, design requirements into technical specifications.
