Job Summary
We are seeking a Production Labourer to join our team in the manufacture of distribution transformers. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting operational requirements while complying with quality, environmental and health & safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform handling, lifting, assembly, erection, and packaging operations of products.
- Interpret general assembly plans, schematic drawings, and production work instructions.
- Carry out validations and measurements to provide a high-quality product.
- Complete work orders, check sheets and inspection documents as required.
- Ensure basic maintenance of work equipment and keep the work area clean and tidy.
Requirements
- High school diploma, vocational diploma or any combination of relevant experience.
- One (1) year of work experience in the manufacturing/industrial sector (an asset).
- Good physical stamina and ability to work standing up for long periods.
- Interpretation of plans and drawings (an asset).
- Experience with an overhead crane (an asset).
- Functional French and basic mathematical skills.
- Available to work evening or night shifts.
- Occasional weekend availability (an asset).
