Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including pizzas, salads, and desserts.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring that all menu items are safe and enjoyable for our customers.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that all team members are equipped to provide excellent service.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and recruit and hire new staff members as needed.
  • Event Planning: Organize buffets and banquets, and manage kitchen operations to ensure that all events run smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent cooking skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure.
