Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Industrial Specialist to join our team at Nova Millwrights Limited. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and install mechanical equipment, including machinery and equipment installation
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in industrial equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts, including fabrication of parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, including operation of machining tools to fabricate parts
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment, and read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification
  • Construction Millwright Trade Certification
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in a noisy, odorous, and dusty environment. You will be required to handle heavy loads, work under pressure, and stand for extended periods.
