Job Title: Insulation Specialist

Six Star Homes Inc is seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to join our team. As an Insulation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the thermal performance of our buildings by installing and maintaining insulation materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Select and apply the appropriate insulation materials for various building applications.
  • Measure and cut insulation materials to the required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools.
  • Install insulation materials using various application and installation methods.
  • Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs.
  • Supervise other workers and ensure that all insulation work is completed to the highest standard.
  • Estimate costs and materials for insulation projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure that insulation work is completed correctly.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in insulation work.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
Work Environment:

The Insulation Specialist will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often at heights and in confined spaces. The ability to work safely and efficiently is essential.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.Hours of Work:

30 to 40 hours per week.
